Lazy Sunday & Happy Flag Day

Aaron & I had the best day yesterday, really, one for the record books.  It was one of those sundays that we used to promise eachother back before we were married, back when we were living apart, often separated by several states worth of distance.  The kind of lazy, sexy sunday you dream about and idealize.

It was wonderful.  And Fun.  And Romantic.  And Sweet.  and Satisfying... oh lord was it ever...

And today we're back to monday and reality and I just wish it could be a lifetime of sunday afternoons; a life of never worrying and always smiling and cuddling and relaxing and joy and bliss and hedonism.

But.  One of my very favorite songs from Musical theatre is from Mr. Sondheim and asserts that 'if life were only moments, then you'd never know you had one!'

So I'll cherish the amazing collection of exquisite 'moments' we shared yesterday while I'm moving through the unremarkable rest-of-the-days.

In other news... HAPPY FLAG DAY!  Evry Heart Beats True right?
Aaron left the house looking much like a JAWS extra: White short sleeve linen shirt (uber sexy when worn a little open and casz), Khakis (his favorite 'cadet' style with the button fly lol) abd this fantastic red, white & blue striped tie.  He seriously looked precious, if a bit unusual for him.  What did he say?  Oh, "I feel like I belong in OFFICE SPACE..."  I said, 'Nay-- But you look like you might be running for Amity Island's town council..."

Anywho!  Hope you all have an enjoyable and safe Flag Day-- remember to sing loud, wear the colors, but don't party too hard now!

Glory, Glory Halleluia!
