BABY SHOWER!

It happened! It came, it saw, it conquered!

Holy Moly. I think I went really well. I have this feeling that it was maybe too crowded but Aaron disagrees.

I’m so grateful to all the wonderful people that helped make the event special and well-executed.

Thank You Thank You Thank You!

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have had the opportunity to do this for my best friends.

Now I can’t wait to meet that little girl!!

Listen, I really want to chillax right now. I am so, so, so happy. I want to do a blog about this shower, tell some tales and process some of it, but right now I just want to put my feet up, polish off that jug of mimosas and maybe do some writing????

Then dishes. Then we’ll do Adam & Danielle’s dishes so they can pick them up tomorrow,

I feel blessed and loved and happy and very, very pleased.

Oh and my husband? Totally the best husband in the world. He’s kind of a super hero.

He was awesome pants today and I am very, very grateful.

He may have called my writing shitty (we had big old fucking meltdown yesterday morning), but he is my hero, my best friend, my love and my life. I’m hoping I can lure him into liking my writing someday but as per the advice of my girlfriends, I can't let his opinion make or break me.

I kinda wish he would co-write with me like Adnam & Danielle are doing! Too FUN!! Maybe this summer we'll dig out and dust off our BRIDGEWATER TRIANGLE screenplay which we were writing together and it was awesome. Its great to brainstorm with him and bounce ideas off one another and get the creative juices flowing. He just isn't super behind this venture and I'm trying to cut him some slack.

OK, let me say that this experience has made me want to write a baby shower into cedar falls! And we already know of two knocked-up ladies so, be looking for that on the horizon.

For today? The Riv! This is so far the last part of the riverside stuff at present. I have more in my head but haven’t written it yet, so tomorrow I’mma switch things up and go in a new direction! But for now, Riverside Bistro Part The Third! YAYZ.
